Joey Wentz, a standout pitcher and first baseman for SM East has been named a first-team All-American as a multi-position player. The 2015 All-American pre-season selections are sponsored by Louisville Slugger and the selections are made by the staff of Collegiate Baseball newspaper. The announcement of the first and second team selections says that most of the players have committed to college and have received national recognition already. Wentz, a junior at SM East, has already committed to play at the University of Virginia, a decision he made last September.
